Prevention

JACY House offers the Monique Burr Foundation Child/Teen Safety Matters prevention programs to all public and private schools in Wayne, Union, and Fayette counties.

JACY House also provides the Darkness to Light Stewards of Children child sexual abuse prevention program to adult community members in Wayne and surrounding counties. If interested in attended or hosting an adult prevention trainings, please call our office at 765-962-9043.

Forensic Interviews

JACY House provides a safe, child-friendly, neutral place for children who need to be interviewed when there have been allegations of abuse. JACY House uses the ChildFirst™ protocol, which is a multi-disciplinary team approach where members from investigation, prosecution, mental health and medical communities collaborate in the best interest of the child and family. Advocacy

Child and Family Advocates at JACY House are present to offer support to the child's family during the majority of forensic interviews. Advocates can provide referrals for mental health services, medical evaluations, and other resources upon request. Advocates are available to assist the family with safety planning, accessing needed resources, understanding the investigative process, and helping guide the family through the court system as needed. Training and Events

JACY House provides the Darkness to Light Stewards of Children child sexual abuse prevention program to adult community members in Wayne and surrounding counties.  Staff at JACY House also facilitate other trainings to educate and empower adults in the community when faced with concerns about child sexual abuse.
